About Us

Arizona State University is proud to offer the Master of Real Estate Development. Unlike any other program in the nation of its kind, this degree is built upon an innovative transdisciplinary curriculum from the schools of law, design, construction, and business.

The Master of Real Estate Development is as an accelerated, 30 week, full immersion program focused on educating students and mid-career professionals in the practices and transactions of-and-in real estate development. The curriculum is presented in a fast paced topic sequence reflective real estate development process, revealing specific core knowledge components and strategic decision making tools during each of the nine program segments: Valuation, Segmentation, Location, Conceptualization, Regulation, Capitalization, Construction, Value Realization, and Community.

This unique curriculum includes three Synthesis Projects which serve as core knowledge demonstration events along with relevant industry case studies, interactive classroom exercises, collaborative group engagements, integration of topical research, site visits, professional mentor presentations and meetings, distinguished visitor lectures and social events.

To build an innovative real estate and development Master degree program focused on an interdisciplinary, industry relevant educational experience for the academic excellence of students and mid-career professionals.

This accelerated program is structured to immerse students within a real estate development curriculum through a faculty core and professional mentors representing disciplines from design, law, business and construction.

Facilities

The ASU Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program is located in the ASU Foundation Marketplace at 777 South College Avenue, Suite 205, directly north of the ASU Foundation building (University and College Avenues). We are attached to the west side of the ASU Foundation parking garage. Once you have parked in the garage go to the second floor and walk on the outside walkway to our space. There is also a limited amount of short term parking on the street with parking meters.

The MRED program is housed in a newly renovated learning facility equipped with a fully mediated seminar space, group project work spaces, administrative and faculty offices. This space is available to the MRED students around the clock as a working envrionment for individual or group project needs.
