The RED teaching team will be centered on a four member faculty core representing disciplines from the schools of Design, Law, Business, and Construction. Additional ASU faculty will be drawn from the various disciplines represented within the four colleges and schools engaging in the presentation of specific aspects of the curriculum. The faculty will present the key and relevant issues within the real estate development industry including finance, investments, production, operations, development law, design, environmental remediation, public policy, economic market analysis, land planning, and architectural design.
A significant element of instruction will be provided from the wealth of successful local and regional real estate development professionals. These industry leaders from the many aspects of real estate development will be involved at specific points in the program where their experience and knowledge addresses precise issues within the real estate development process. Additionally, professionals and visiting scholars of national and international stature will be dispersed throughout the program as distinguished guest presenters. Their participation in the program will be timed to coincide with the practicum reviews, specific core knowledge introductions, and to key note the orientation and capstone sessions.
